Learning Resource Center
The LRC has over 26,000 books, periodicals,
audio-visual and software items, a Career Center, Teacher Professional
Library, English Reference Room, 2 PC Labs, and a Macintosh Lab.
The facility has two floors.
Students and teachers are encouraged to make
maximum use of print and non-print materials. Teachers may schedule
classes for curriculum related units. Students may check books out
at the circulation desk before the bell rings. Reserve books, pamphlets,
magazines, and some reference materials may be checked out for overnight
use only. Students may also use computer resources such as the electronic
databases, Ohio Career Information System for career and college
research, and the Internet for curricular needs. Several databases
may be accessed from home. Please see a librarian for the passwords.
LRC Rules and Procedures
- Student IDs are required for access
and materials check out.
- Students are required to conduct themselves
in a quiet and orderly manner.
- Students must cooperate with all LRC
staff.
- Students are expected to arrive on time
and remain in the LRC for the entire period.
- Students are required to remain seated
until the bell rings at the end of each period.
- Each student must sign out all materials
before leaving the LRC.
- Students are expected to use the proper
EXIT doors.
- Students may not bring food or beverage
of ANY kind into the LRC.
- Any student damaging or abusing LRC
property, books, or equipment will be disciplined and charged
for the damage.
- Students are responsible for all borrowed
materials and their return.
- A copy machine is available for student
use in the LRC.
